The Blemished Foreskin
A cow lived it’s whole life in the leather that I use (or probably a steer, but I don’t discriminate), and they almost always have some scars (or a lot of scars if it is free range cattle from out west). That means I am left with some off cuts that I don’t feel good about putting into full priced products. I you were unsure about whether this product is for you… You’re in luck (assuming these are in stock)!
Besides… Scars are cool.
NOTE: you get whatever shock cord color I have on hand in the greatest supply.
Standard description:
Give your handguard the protection it should have always had with a leather handguard wrap sized for a standard AR15 handguard (get it… leather… skin… fore end of the gun?). This is designed as a heat shield to protect you hand from the heat radiating from your gas block on high round count drills (or gunfights… if you’re into that sort of thing). If you’re a spooky boi, sneaking around at night with lots of doodads strapped to your gat, the foreskin is also great for cable management or holding tape switches in place! And in the cold the foreskin stops the aluminum handguard from sucking all the heat out of your hand?
These are hand stitched and made of vegetable tanned leather. This is significant for a couple reasons. Chiefly this means your handguard wrap will be a truly unique item after a few range trips. It also means that there are no synthetic chemicals used in the tanning process.
